So, how do you make your EA attach a screenshot to your email using the Easy Email Plug-in?  It’s pretty easy: You check a box!

There are 3 methods that can be used to send an email using the Easy Email Plug-in.
You can send an email from any Element
You can send an email using the Communication Manager
You can send an email by dragging a Function from the Toolbox

The Communication Manager allows you to send emails based on Events, like:
When the EA is started
When the EA stops
When a trade is opened
When a trade is closed
When your Account Balance goes above or below a certain level

And remember, attaching a screenshot of the price chart to your email is as easy as checking a check box.  This attaches the current price chart, including any indicators you have drawn on that chart, and sends it right to your own email box. This feature works great with mobile devices.

GrayBox Code: Mostly Visible Logic
Yes, I made up the term Gray-Box.  The MQL code function fnSendEasyEmail is fully visible.  Actually, this function serves as a great tutorial of how an MQL Element function can be created and used in VTS. (The MQL Element is a very powerful concept).  The fnSendEasyEmail  function itself relies on a external library written in C++.  You probably don’t want to see this code anyway!  The C++ code creates and manages the secure connection with your email service provider.

Qualify Your Logical Conditions

Suppose you want your EA to check for a cross over condition, but only once per bar.  Or once per minute.  Or, suppose you want to check for the price to breakout above a channel, but you want the price to break the channel 3 times before you open an order.With the Power Package, you can apply these advanced techniques to any Logical condition. When you configure a Logic Element, the Power Tab allows you to define:

• On every Tick
• Once per Bar
• Once per Hour
• Once per Day

Minimum Required True Count

This options allows you to define how many times a Logic must evaluate to True before being considered True:

• Once only
• Count per Bar (where Count is any number)
• Count per Hour
• Count per Day
• Count per Run

Maximum Required True Count

This option allows you to define how many times a Logic is allowed to evaluate to True:

• Unlimited
• Count per Bar (where Count is any number)
• Count per Hour
• Count per Day
• Count per Run

Get More from Your Technical Indicators
When you configure any of the multitude of MetaTrader built-in technical indicators, or even your own custom indicators, the Power Tab allows you to do more.

Channel value  This option allows you to get the Highest or Lowest value for an indicator from a channel of any size.  For example, you can get the highest RSI value from the last 24 bars.  (This in itself is a pretty good open-trade signal.)

Trending value  This option allows you to test if your indicator is trending Up or Down over any number of bars.  You define how much the value has to rise or fall.  You can even throw some bars out if they don’t obey the trend!

Average value  This option allows to compute the moving average of any indicator over any number of bars.
