Q:  Why Can’t End Elements be Saved in the EA Builder Toolbox?

A: End Elements are used to return a value from a function in MQL (or a Drawing in VTS).

There is not much effort involved in defining the data type and setting the value of an End Element, so we decided to not store previously saved End Elements in the EA Builder Toolbox.

That being said, it can get tiring to define the same Element over and over, so we added a shortcut to automatically add the most-often-used End Elements to the context menu on the Drawing Pad. To see the context menu, right-click with your mouse anywhere on the Drawing Pad.

Q: How do I know if I am testing the latest version of my EA?

A: Use the build number. The build number is automatically incremented by VTS each time you build the EA. The buiold number is written into the MQL file and is available when viewing the EA in the MetaTrader platform.
