Here is an image of the simple Event configuration window that is available on all functions in the VTS EA-Builder:
Events can be configured on functions that are connected on a Drawing or on functions that are simply dropped onto the drawing pad.
In the Drawing below, the Functions iAC1 and fnDrawing1 will execute on every tick because they are connected to the Start Element. Functions iAC1 and fnDrawing1 can also be configured to execute on Events. And the the unconnected Function iADX can be configured to execute on Events as well..
This plug-in of the EA-Builder generates MQL code using the MetaTrader Event functions: OnInit, OnDeInit, OnTimer and OnChartEvent. It automatically correctly initializes the Event objects. The generated MQL is read-able and edit-able.
